Now Accepting Submissions for 2013 Colorado Independent Women of Film!

Submissions are now open for the 2013 Colorado Independent Women of Film!

Colorado Independent Women of Film celebrates a unique style, perspective, and artistic vision within Colorado’s indie filmmaking community.  The two-night festival features short films (narrative and documentary), music videos, experimental works, trailers, web-based projects, and excerpts from feature-length movies.

Submission is FREE and is open to projects that have been produced, directed, written, or edited by women who call Colorado home. Films directed and/or written by women will receive the highest priority, as well as works under 8 minutes. Movies featuring Colorado actresses will also be considered.

The Third Annual Colorado Independent Women of Film will take place August 16 and 17 at The Bug Theatre (3654 Navajo Street, Denver, CO 80232), with screenings at 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on August 16 and 4:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on August 17.  Tickets are $10 a day.
