Q: Why did you become a filmmaker?
SR: I am a new filmmaker, making films now for only 1.5 years. I came into it by chance, a happy accident and I l was excited about the whole process. It was like creating magic! I seriously think that Filmmaking chose me.

Q: What are we going to see at CIWF? Has it screened elsewhere and what are your plans for it?
SR: Naked Garden is the name of this short art film. It has been screened at the Intendence Film Festival and received the People’s Choice Award for Best Experimental Art Short.

Q: How do you feel about being selected to participate in Colorado Independent Women of Film?
SR: I’m thrilled to have been selected for this event!

Q: What are your hopes for the event?
SR: My hopes are that more people see my film and gain an appreciation for the art of body painting.

Q: Who would enjoy attending the festival? Is it just for the filmmaking community, or is there a reason why non-filmmakers should attend?
SR: Anyone interested in seeing indie films would enjoy this event.

Q: Tell us one unique thing about you and/or your movies?
SR: Filmmaking, body painting, costuming, hair/makeup and still photography are all areas I’m creatively passionate about.

Q: What else are you working on?
SR: I am presently working on several more Experimental Shorts focusing on the art of body painting.

Q: Where can people go to find out more about you and your work?
